Damages to the yard

My tenants tore up the yard during the winter and I have ask them twice to repair it within the past month and a half.  I can't even mow the lawn because of it.  How to address this matter in a formal written notice?  Thanks, Jolaine

I always use written correspondence with my tenants. There is a noticfe for that on this web-site. I have given my tenants a written warning and then another written notice giving them the consequences.
