Prepay on Lease

Know of new tenants that prepaid an entire 1 yr lease upfront.  Is there anything suspicious about this, or to be aware of?  Or is the Landlord just plain lucky.  Thanks.

I know of no dangers with this (altho that doesn't mean they don't exist). Throw it in the bank and if somewhere down the road issues happen to were you need to refund the unsed portion, you still keep the interest.
