do you know if it is appropriate when realtor wants a month to month commission... agreement states 6% no month to month...

Usually when a Realtor rents an apartment - they often ask for a flat fee usually equal to one months rent. In some cases, they may ask for a monthly percentage. In my exeprience though, a monthyl fee usually comes more into play when they are providing management duties as well. 6% iis actually less than paying a full month though, so I would be happy about that if it were me.
