My wife owned a condo before we got married. We are renting the condo out but I was wondering if I could be legally listed as the Landlord on the lease?

I would list myself as the Agent, not the Landlord, as the Landlord is the legal property owner, whereas the Agent is their representative.

Theresa, in most states this is not permitted, and I believe a tenant is not allowed to change the locks.

If they change the locks at their expense they must provide the landlord with a duplicate key.
