Hi, I am a Fire Code consultant based out of Toronto, Canada. I have developed a course on teachable for property managers/landlords to use to help them interpret their own Fire Safety Plans. This course aims to just save you money. It gives a break down of a typical fire safety plan, why its necessary and what you may need to know. Most municipalities fine landlords and owners with obscene amounts when they are found in violation. In Toronto and individual can be fined up to $50,000 for the first offence and $100,000 for every subsequent, a corporation up to $500,000 for the first offence and up to $1,500,000 for a subsequent offence.
