Lost Rent

My landlord claims they never got the rent payment for the month of June. I personally hand delivered it to their office and placed it in the specified drop box for payments. I have already sent a replacement check which they've received. However, they will not reimburse me for the stop payment charge of the missing check. What should I do?

I would forget about it. It's not worth making a big deal over. It sounds like an honest mistake.
I would agree that it is not worth the time or energy worrying about it.
