Landlord/Rental property Insurance

I am purchasing a property in Texas, and looking for an insurance company that will write a stand alone policy, as most want to write your homeowners to do the rental property. So far I have only found Farmers willing t odo this, can anyone recommend another company for a comparison quote?

i would contact a local insurance broker in your area that represents many brands and let them give you quotes. This can happen but it may be a bit more expensive than if you have it as an add on.
