Tenant-Landlord Liability

Who is responsible for damage repair and cleanup from a grease fire on the cook stove  caused by the tenant leaving something cooking on the stove? I have insurance but the tenant has none.  Thanks

Sounds like negligence on the part of the tenant.
Certainly, tenant is liable for this. To avoid these issue, I use property management services from Tropicana Realty. They take care of everything from maintenance to repair.
