Monies dues at lease signing?

Hello, I have selected tenant for my rental, however she cannot move in until November 11th. We are meeting this Friday to sign the lease. Should I collect the prorated rent at that time or wait until we do walk through Nov 10th?? She is going to pay half her security deposit on Friday and the rest at walk through?
